虽然看起来没什么毛病，但是“waitress”指的是“（餐馆里的）女侍者，女服务员”，用来称呼空姐显得唐突又不礼貌。

这是一种比较正式的表达，“attendant”作为名词有“服务员；侍者”的意思。“flight attendant”就是我们常说的“空乘”，没有男女性别之分。但是翻译的时候我们可以根据具体的情况进行区分。
